We are very happy to have reached a cooperation with Dura-Metal (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore.
Ray, a Singaporean customer from Dura-Metal (S) Pte Ltd, contacted Nikita, our company’s sales manager, at Ali International Station.
Ray wanted to find flexible cables that can be used on handheld arc spray guns and must be fire-resistant, oil-resistant, waterproof, and flame-retardant characteristics.
Nikita provides three specifications of cables with this performance，They are：
1.external diameter 31.8mm, conductor area 185mm²;
2.external diameter 28mm, conductor area 150mm²;
3.external diameter 22.5mm, inner diameter 12.5mm,conductor area 95mm²;
The customer wants to use it on thermal spray equipment, and the cable is used to connect the flame head and the fuselage.
The operator will hold the arc spray gun. So the cables should be flexible to easy to carry the spray gun and not heavy or hard to move.
It has 2 cables are positive and negative and can withstand 380A @ 100% duty Cycle and 500A @ 60% duty cycle.
Because of the rubber sheathed wire is being connected to dinse plug, So the inner diameter must not exceed 16mm.
In comparison, the customer finally chose the specifications with a conductor area of 95mm², an outer diameter of 22.5mm, and an inner diameter of 12.5mm.
According to its usage requirements, we completed an order for 20,000 meters of 95mm² single-core rubber sheathed cables.
